Sculpture exhibition after En Plein Air event

Orońsko 2009

LAB ORO 2008 was the first edition of a ceramic sculptors’ En Plein Air event organized by the Polish Sculpture Centre in Orońsko that was held from 3rd to 24th August 2008 with participation of Stanisław Brach, Aleksandra Dobrowolska, Bogusław Dobrowolski, Krzysztof Rozpondek and Andrzej Karol Wiśniewski.

Participants of the En Plein Air event were artists engaged in creating widely understood ceramic art. The event aimed at juxtaposing creative stances with ceramic material and skills at ceramic creation, exchanging experiences, seeking new technological and formal solutions at the point where sculpture and ceramics meet. Of some significance were also opportunities for production of ceramic art offered by the ceramic workshop of the Polish Sculpture Centre.

Works created during the LAB ORO En Plein Air event are a result of participants’ individual experience as well as spending time together, their discussions and mutual inspirations.
