Wystawy
Franciszek Maśluszczak 17th October 2008, 6 pm
Born in 1948 in Katowice, he graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology. He is engaged in painting, graphics and drawing. His painting is metaphoric by default; he paints people of distorted proportions, against a background of unreal landscape. Lyrical, lost and shy individuals, full of sadness and peculiar comicality, are characteristic of the artist’s paintings. He has been exhibited his works at BWA Art Gallery in Lublin, Polish Cultural Institute in Stockholm, Polish Cultural Institute in London and the National Art Gallery in Płock.
The exhibition will run until 7th November, 2008
